The StarPatch FAQ
Good questions. Clear answers.
A little know-how, all in one place. Find the details for your patch, your routine and your order.
New to patches
What does transdermal mean?
Transdermal means “through the skin.” A transdermal patch holds its formula against the skin and is designed for delivery through it. It is a wearable format, with nothing to swallow or mix.
Are topical and transdermal the same?
Topical means applied to the skin, as with a moisturiser. Transdermal describes delivery through the skin, as with a nicotine medicine patch. The words describe different ways a skin-applied product is used.
Why choose a patch?
Patches keep the routine simple: no mixing, measuring or swallowing. Choose a formula for the part of your day you have in mind, explore its ingredients, then peel and apply according to the pouch directions.
What is inside a patch?
A patch brings a formula, a skin-contact layer and a protective cover together. Our illustrated guide shows four parts: the backing, release-control layer, clear skin-contact liner and ingredient reservoir. Each of our seven formulas has its own complete ingredient list.
Where should I start?
Start with the part of your day you want to keep simple: Energy for a daytime ritual, Daytime Calm for a daytime pause, or Sleep and Magnesium for an evening routine. Explore a single pouch first, or choose a duo, trio or Seven Stack to have different formulas on hand for different moments.
Application & everyday care
How and where do I apply a patch?
Choose a clean, dry, relatively hair-free spot—the inner arm is a good example. Peel one patch from its sheet, place it on your skin and press it firmly into place. Use a slightly different spot for your next patch, and avoid broken, damaged, irritated or sensitive skin.
How long should I wear a patch?
Wear your patch for up to 24 hours, following its pouch directions. Gently remove and discard it when you’re finished, and choose a slightly different spot for your next patch. Each patch is single-use. Remove it sooner and stop use if your skin feels irritated.
How do I remove adhesive residue?
Gently peel off the used patch, then wash any sticky residue away with warm, soapy water. Be gentle rather than scrubbing the area. If your skin feels irritated, stop using patches on that area and give it time to settle.
How should I store my patches?
Keep your patches in their pouch in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. A cupboard or drawer makes a practical home for them. Keep both unused and used patches out of children’s reach.
Before you patch
Who can use these patches?
StarPatch is for adults aged 18 and over, for external use on the skin only. Compare the ingredients with any known sensitivities before choosing. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication or under medical care, check with your healthcare professional first. Keep patches away from children.
What if I have sensitive skin?
Choose clean, dry, unbroken skin. Avoid areas that are sensitive, broken or already irritated, and avoid any adhesive or ingredient you know you react to. If you notice redness, itching or a rash, remove the patch and stop use.
Can I use patches if I take medication?
Some ingredients can interact with medicines or overlap with supplements. Have your healthcare professional check the formula alongside what you already take. You’ll find the complete ingredient lists on this page and on each pouch.
Can I use more than one type of patch?
Different patches can fit different parts of your routine. For example, use Energy during the day and Sleep at bedtime, rather than wearing them together. Before choosing another pairing, compare both ingredient lists for overlap and follow each pouch’s directions, including any restrictions on combined use.
Are these patches medicines?
StarPatch patches are wellness products, not medicines. Use them as part of your everyday routine, not in place of prescribed treatment. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease.
Ingredients
Where can I find the full ingredients?
Look for “Know your patch” on any product page, or explore all seven ingredient lists here in the FAQ. Every patch contains the full blend listed for its formula. Bundles show each included formula separately so you can get to know every pouch.
Which patch contains caffeine?
Energy is our caffeine-containing formula. It combines caffeine, green tea extract, taurine, glucuronolactone and vitamins B3, B5 and B6. The other six formulas do not list caffeine as an ingredient.
Which patch contains melatonin?
Sleep, also called Sweet Dreams, contains melatonin alongside valerian, passion flower and hops. The other six formulas do not list melatonin as an ingredient. Magnesium is our separate evening blend with magnesium glycinate and botanicals.

Pouches, bundles & subscriptions
How many patches are in a pouch?
NAD+ and Magnesium each have 12 patches in a pouch. Energy, Recovery, Sleep, Daily Immunity and Daytime Stress Calm each have 15. You can choose one, two, three or four pouches of a single formula. The option shows the total patch count—for example, two NAD+ pouches contain 24 patches, while two Energy pouches contain 30.
What is included in Seven Stack, a trio or a duo?
Seven Stack brings all seven formulas together: Sleep, Energy, Recovery, NAD+, Daily Immunity, Magnesium and Daytime Stress Calm—seven pouches and 99 patches. A trio has one pouch of each of its three named formulas: the NAD+/Recovery/Magnesium trio has 39 patches; the other two trios have 42. Our duos each contain their two named pouches, with 30 patches per set.
What is the difference between Bundle quantity and Order quantity?
Bundle quantity chooses how many complete sets you want: one, two, three or four. Order quantity then multiplies that choice. For example, choosing two duo sets gives you four pouches; leaving Order quantity at one keeps that total at four. Changing Order quantity to two makes it eight pouches. For individual formulas, Pouch quantity works the same way, but selects pouches rather than sets.
Can I buy without subscribing?
Absolutely. Select One-time purchase on the product page, choose your pouch or bundle quantity and add it to your bag. You pay for that order only, with no recurring delivery. Subscribing is optional, and the product page shows both choices so you can compare them.
How do subscriptions work?
Our current subscription saves 20% compared with the one-time price and renews every four weeks, with a recurring payment and delivery. Choose the subscription option before adding your patches to the bag; the product page and checkout show your selected price and terms. To view or manage an existing subscription, use the management link in your subscription email, or contact us if you need a hand.
Orders & support
How do I place an order?
Pick your formula or set, choose the pouch or bundle quantity, then select One-time purchase or Subscribe. Add it to your bag and check that the quantities and purchase option are right. Checkout shows the available shipping options, taxes and final total before you pay. If an option is sold out, it cannot be added until stock is available.
What about shipping?
Our current shipping policy says orders placed by 10am ship the same business day; orders placed on weekends or holidays ship the next business day. That is dispatch timing, rather than a delivery-date guarantee. Your available shipping options and charges are shown at checkout before you pay.
